By air
Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos) is Greece’s main gateway, with flights from across Europe and beyond all year. Porto Rafti is about 15 minutes away by taxi or transfer.
By ferry
The nearest port is Rafina, about 25 minutes away by road. It has ferries and fast boats to Andros, Tinos, Mykonos, Paros and Naxos, and to Marmari on Evia, often quicker than leaving from Piraeus. Lavrio, further south, serves Kea and Kythnos.
Getting around
Recommended. KTEL and local buses link Porto Rafti with Athens and nearby towns, but services are slow and infrequent. A car makes it easy to reach the airport, the beaches, Cape Sounion and the wineries of the Mesogeia plain.
