Athens International Airport is about two and a half to three hours away, via the motorway to Arkitsa and the 45-minute ferry to Loutra Aidipsou. Volos Airport, with seasonal flights from Europe, is about two hours away via the shorter Glyfa–Agiokampos ferry.

Loutra Aidipsou has its own ferry to Arkitsa on the mainland, about 45 minutes, several times a day, and Agiokampos, about 20 minutes away, has the short crossing to Glyfa. In summer, boats from nearby ports reach Skiathos and Skopelos.

Getting around

Optional for a spa stay: the town and its thermal springs along the seafront are walkable. A car is recommended for exploring northern Evia, such as Limni, Rovies, the beaches and forests, as buses are infrequent; you can bring it over on the ferry.
