Kalamata International Airport, between Kalamata and Messini, has direct summer flights from many European cities and some flights from Athens. West Mani is about an hour away by taxi or transfer.

There are no regular passenger ferries from West Mani. The nearest useful ports are Kyllini, about two hours north, for Zakynthos and Kefalonia, and Gythio and Neapoli in Laconia for Kythira.
