Rhodes International Airport (Diagoras), on the west coast near Paradisi, has many direct flights from Europe in summer and flights from Athens all year. Gennadi is about an hour away by taxi or transfer.

The nearest port is Rhodes Town, about an hour and a quarter away by road. It is the main hub of the Dodecanese, with ferries and catamarans to Symi, Kos, Kalymnos, Leros, Patmos, Karpathos and Piraeus, and boats to Marmaris and Fethiye in Turkey.

Recommended. Gennadi is in the quieter south, where buses to Lindos and Rhodes Town run only a few times a day. A car lets you reach Lindos, Prasonisi, the south’s long beaches and the mountain villages easily.
