Rhodes International Airport (Diagoras), on the west coast near Paradisi, has many direct flights from Europe in summer and flights from Athens all year. Kolymbia is about 35 minutes away by taxi or transfer.

The nearest port is Rhodes Town, about 35 minutes away by road. It is the main hub of the Dodecanese, with ferries and catamarans to Symi, Kos, Kalymnos, Leros, Patmos, Karpathos and Piraeus, and boats to Marmaris and Fethiye in Turkey.

Getting around

Optional. Frequent buses run along the east coast between Rhodes Town, Kolymbia and Lindos, and taxis are easy to find. A car is useful for a few days to explore the quieter west coast, the mountain villages and beaches such as Anthony Quinn Bay and Prasonisi.
